The Leaside Hockey School offers four programs for various age groups. Squirt, Mite, Tyke and Minor Novice serve children from ages 5 to 9. Placement in these programs are based on your child's birth year. See the below list to find out which group your child belongs in this year.

NOTES REGARDING HOUSE LEAGUE FEES AND REFUNDS FOR 2017/2018:
The Leaside Hockey Association is implementing a moderate fee increase of $50 (for a total cost of $550 for the season) for House League & Hockey School programs. The additional fees will assist with the program enhancements highlighted above, and others. The Leaside Hockey Association is making a commitment to Leaside families to hold fees flat for a minimum period of three years going forward.
We understand that schedules and priorities can change, so any family that has registered for House League or Hockey School can withdraw up to August 1, 2017. An administration fee of $100 will be applied. After August 1, 2017, the Leaside Hockey Association will not provide any refunds for withdrawals from programs. Please contact the League Registrar, Nancy Johnston at firstname.lastname@example.org for any inquiries regarding withdrawals and refunds.
LEASIDE HOCKEY ASSOCIATION REFUND POLICY
Players wishing to withdraw from the Leaside Hockey Association (LHA) house league or hockey school program must do so in writing either through email or written letter to the Registrar.
Subject to the restrictions below regarding Select, players may withdraw prior to July 31st and receive a refund of their full registration fee less a $100.00 administration charge. Players will not receive any refund if they withdraw on or after August 1st. Exceptions will only be made for players requesting a withdrawal due to medical reasons (upon provision of a note from the player’s doctor) or due to family relocation (upon provision of reasonable documentation to that effect).
The LHA will endeavor to process refunds within 30 days of receipt of the withdrawal request.
Select Players that have accepted an offer with a LHA Select team, and subsequently request a release from LHA at any time thereafter, will not receive any refund on their HL registration fees. Exceptions will only be made for players requesting a withdrawal due to medical reasons/injury (upon provision of a note from the player’s doctor) or for players requesting a withdrawal due to family relocation outside the region governed by the North York Hockey League (upon provision of reasonable documentation to that effect).
Players who withdraw from LHA and have attended at least one try-out for Select but have not been offered or have not accepted a spot may receive a full refund on HL fees, provided a request for withdrawal is made within one week of the invitational tryout. If the request for withdrawal comes later than one week after the Select invitational tryout, players will receive a refund equal to their full HL fee less a $100.00 administration charge. As per all LHA House League and Hockey School players, requests for withdrawal after August 1st will not receive a refund.
As per Hockey Canada, you may only register for one club at a time. If you have registered for more than one association and decide to withdraw from LHA, the above rules apply.
