LHA Players Support the Humboldt Broncos
The LHA community has been touched by the news of the bus accident involving the Humboldt Broncos of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. As parents, players and volunteers, our hearts go out to those who have been affected by this terrible tragedy.
As the Broncos family mourns, the hockey community in Saskatchewan, Canada and around the world has come together to honour and celebrate the lives of those who have been lost. We are united in disbelief, grief, and by our love of hockey and what it teaches our children on and off the ice. We are also united by the enduring friendships formed in games and practices, in the stands, in dressing rooms and at team social events. Our shared experiences and passion for hockey makes these events resonate deeply.
As an expression of their solidarity and support for the Broncos players and families, members of the LHA’s GTHL teams are leaving their sticks on their front porches as part of the #PutYourSticksOut campaign. We invite you to join them.
