The Leaside Minor Midget division are the champions of the Canadian Cup Tournament held in Montreal this past weekend! The boys showed great resolve and determination in winning a game that went to a shootout – a game in which they never had the lead. Their goalie was on fire stopping 6 of 6 shootout attempts, as well as a penalty shot awarded to the other team during the sudden death overtime period.
