LHA + First Shift Program
The Leaside Hockey Association is thrilled to be part of the Canadian Tire First Shift program, a broad initiative designed to allow families that are new to hockey participate and develop a love of the game.
The Canadian Tire First Shift program offers new players, 6 – 10 years of age:
- A program that fits with today’s family lifestyle
- A manageable time commitment
- An affordable registration fee ($199) that includes head-to-toe BAUER equipment
- A welcoming and inviting environment
- An introduction to hockey that includes hockey instruction and safety education
- Six- week, 1 hour on-ice sessions, on a consistent day and time
- An opportunity to focus on FUN!
- A welcoming and encouraging environment.
We welcome families of children born between January 1, 2008 and March 1, 2013 to register for the program as spaces are going quickly. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER Or, visit www.firstshift.ca.
The Program will kick off with a Welcome Event on January 27, 2018 at Leaside Arena. As part of this event, children will be measured for their new hockey equipment.
On-ice sessions commence February 24, 2018 at Leaside Arena.
