As we prepare for the coming hockey season, the Leaside Hockey Association (LHA) is excited to announce the appointment of Mark Healy as Director of the LHA’s Hockey School. Mark grew up in Leaside and has been a highly regarded coach in our organization for over 12 years. He is currently a coach with the LHA’s U13AA team and with the St. Mike’s Majors. In addition, he has been helping to lead the growth of The Hockey Factory, both on and off the ice, as the Factory’s Director of Program Development and Skills Instructor.

Mark has assembled a talented & experienced group of instructors to help provide the next step to build and execute an innovative vision for the LHA’s youth hockey development program. His team of skilled & passionate instructors will bring tremendous value to the hockey community in Leaside with targeted approaches for various ages and skill levels. Mark is deeply committed to player development and ensuring each child finds joy in playing the game. Under Mark’s leadership, we aim to continue the advancement of the LHA as a leading minor hockey association in North America.

We look forward to the 2022-23 hockey season with Mark and his team operating our LHA Hockey School. More details on the LHA Hockey School program to come soon. To register your child for Hockey School, please click here.
