LHA Volunteer Awards - Nominations Close March 6th
Please nominate a volunteer before Friday March 6th!
Volunteers make it possible for the LHA to deliver high quality hockey programming to our community at a manageable cost. Coaches, trainers, managers, conveners, board members, and parents generously give hours of their time each week so that our children can enjoy the great game of hockey.
Help us celebrate our volunteers by nominating someone you believe has made an exceptional contribution for one of our LHA Awards:
- The Jeff Munn Volunteer of the Year Award
- The George Turrell Spirit Award
We encourage nominations from all LHA programs and ask you to please keep your nomination to 500 words, or fewer.
Send your nominations to Anthony Hammill at vpcommunity@leasidehockey.com by Friday March 6th.

The Women on the LHA Bench
The LHA is extremely proud of the growing number of women volunteering to be part of the bench staff for our competitive teams. Whether a head coach, assistant coach or trainer, these women are playing a vital part in their child's, and the whole team's, hockey experience.
Click HERE or on the button below to meet some of the women on the LHA bench and learn more about what inspired them to join the bench staff and what they enjoy most about the experience.
If you are interested in being more involved in your child's hockey experience, please speak to your Head Coach or program coordinator about upcoming opportunities.
